Welcome to my Book Nook
I love to read. Reading is one of the best ways for me to learn about new concepts and ideas. That said, I don’t generally take the time to reflect on what I have just read (i.e., learned) and I often find the content of one book melding into the content of another. So, I am setting my intention to change that habit and I will read, rate, review, and share my thoughts on at least one book per month. The books that I’m reviewing will be in the leadership development/personal development/business space. That’s not to say that I’m giving up on fiction (to check out what else I’m reading, you can follow me on Goodreads).
For books reviewed in 2020 and 2021, you will see a rating out of 5. Books reviewed in 2022 and beyond will not have a rating. If I’ve gotten something from a book, then that makes it a worthwhile read for me. So, starting in 2022, the books that I choose to add to my Book Nook will always be books that resonated with me, introduced a new idea, or got me thinking.
I hope you find these reviews helpful and I welcome your thoughts and comments. I’d also love to hear what you’re reading!
